USPS Express Mail International-Questions
Has anyone used this service to get clubs shipped to them from the USA? I cannot find out if it will result in a huge duty bill once they get here.

Sometimes you get hit sometimes you don't, depends on what value is marked and whether or not it's marked as a gift. It's certainly the safest bet brokerage/duty wise though from the States.

I have had many items shipped from US by USPS (club sets, staff bags, etc) and it has worked seamlessly. Canada Post requires HST payment at door (or, in the case of large values, they call in advance of delivery for Credit Card). No brokerage fees, no duties.

I have lots of items shipped to UPS store in Ogdensburg NY< they charge $5.00 per parcels and you go and pick it up, Play a round in Canton and you save the tax and most of the time it will be free shipping n the States.

I have never been charged duty. Brokerage a couple times when shipped UPS or FedEx. Never with USPS. Lately USPS has not even charged their $5 handling fee or HST though most of my orders in the last year have been $150 or less. Likely you will get charged HST or nothing.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

I received packages from USPS Express have never been charged duty and only HST on my last purchase.
It was only charged on the value the shipper put down for the package which was MUCH less than my bid which was much less than retail GolfTown. Always buy from a 99+% positive seller with many (at least 5k) sales."Only one man in a thousand is a leader of men...
