Had surgery in sept 2 of the last 5 years. Sucks. There can be a lot of nice golf in the fall. My sympathies.

Tripped and fell July 10th looking for a golf ball in the fescue, wasn't even mine. Serious injury to left shoulder, "shoulder infringement syndrome", at least another 6-8 weeks. 60+, I don't heal as fast as I once did.

It does suck getting older. My left knee was killing me during my last round Sunday so it's liklely good that I can't play for the next three weeks due to family commitments.

The only Golden I see coming in old age is more urine.

I should mention , I suffered a grade 2 hamstring tear playing in this same annual reunion game last year. Put me on the shelf for 6 weeks my leg was black from the back of my knee to my butt cheek.
I am in decent shape just too old now to play all out, I am hanging up the glove. ( or will pass it on to a younger lad )

As steveK says , it does suck getting older

That sucks - I broke my wrist in early May tagging a guy running full speed at second base...was out of Softball/golf for 8 weeks. Weird thing is since the cast is off my golf game has never been better...
