What a crazy game!!!!

i've been playing the worst golf I've played in years this summer. I think I broke 90 once. I used to be a low-mid 80's player. was ready to write this whole year off then pulled a 77 out of my hat at cloverdale a week ago, my best score ever, and that was with an 8 on #18. ( the pressure got to me, i knew how well i was playing!!) My approaches just started hitting the greens and the putts all dropped for one glorious day. Then, this past weekend, back up to 92. go figure. sometimes, it really is witchcraft more than a game.

Life is like that. I have been fortunate to break a few barriers but have also had many a chance foiled by the Golf Gods. I find the best strategy is to stay in the moment and not get too fixated on where you are in the round. Play each shot and each hole as a seperate game and you will find more success. Golf is 90 percent mental and the rest is in your head.
