can't comment on conditions but....it's a mix of tight tree lined holes and some open ish holes and pretty flat. Also an odd mix of yardages, whites are 5700 yds, blues 6500 unless they have changed it. Overall a decent course but not one I rush out to play.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

6 par 3's, 6 par 4's, and 6 par 5's. All relatively short. More open holes than tight ones, not alot of trouble. Over priced if you ask me.

I agree as well... though it IS the only course I've ever played where I had four birdies in one round, so I have to give it props for that - but I was shocked when I found out the green fee rate when I showed up in the first year (or the first year one could play all 18). I love Cloverdale, but Anderson (which I eagerly anticipated forever while seeing its "plans" on a white board in the Cloverdale 'clubhouse') not so much. Too bad too - it might have had good potential, but I have yet to return.

How is the drainage on Anderson? A nice, short and open course might be just what I want to help a beginner build some confidence today - if the rain lets up.

It is in a relatively low lying area and will be soft and soggy if it rains a lot.
