    Golf simulator purchase

I am interested in buying a golf simulator for my wife and i the question is i am left handed she is right and wondering about the setup can you purchase a mat to place the simulator into the middle i have space about 8 feet wide buy 12 feet long would like to hit real balls. The dancing dog for the price looks good wouldnt mind spending more for a better simulator we both have about a 20 handicap i have a projector and computer would need the screen to hit into as well.

8 ft wide is not big enough for a single sensor pad setup. Perhaps a dual sensor pad setup with 2 P3pro sensors would work.

Zmax if 8 feet isnt big enough for 1 how could it work for 2? I admit i am new to all this my garage is quite a bite wider but the door opener bar is restricting the 9 foot height limit

Offset one for right hitters and one for left hitters.

Or look into a high lift garage door conversion:

How will this help? Isn't the problem the width?

I'm guessing the garage is the other room that he can use. If the bars are at 9 ft, that should not be a problem. You should be able to find a spot that you can swing freely.

hehehe, a sim for your wife huh? Is that how you sold it to her.. nice (just kidding). But seriously my dd is in a room thats barely 12ft wide. My sensor pad is probably about a 1.5 ft. offset from the middle and it has to be to give me enough clearance to swing my longer irons and esp. my driver. (and no my swing is not too flat )
    Just my to cents....

Well... maybe we understood this line differently.

Zmax if 8 feet isnt big enough for 1 how could it work for 2? I admit i am new to all this my garage is quite a bite wider but the door opener bar is restricting the 9 foot height limit
I read "garage is wider but the door opener bar is restricting" as "I have a two car garage but can only use one side of it because the opener is in the way in the middle of my garage".

Yes so its a two car garage with the lifter in the center the lowest point is about 8feet 4 inches of clearance otherwise the ceiling is 9 feet everywhere else Also the P3ProSwing seems to be a few dollars more but has double the sensors is it worth it and then why would you need to tape the drivers and not on the dancing dog??
