Carleton Place Hotel....

Hey Guys,

Have to come to town for a Wedding in Carleton Place at the end of the month an have to stay over there for a night. Anyone ever stay in a hotel out there or know of anywhere remotely half-decent to stay?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Carleton Place is only a 20 minute drive or 32km from Kanata, on 4 lane divided (most of the way). Unless you need to be walking distance from the party, that would be my choice.

Walking/stumbling distance would be preferable. I'll look into this option though, haven't thought about Kanata. Thanks!

Barons Motor Inn is the best choice for you. It is on Hwy 7 right at Carleton Place. There are no hotels or motels right in the town.

thats where the block of rooms is and the ceremony is near by, I think well end up staying there. Will it at least be decent or should I bring a pillow and linens lol

It is very decent, You won't need to bring anything. They also supply free internet. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

There is also a motel right across the road from The Barons. Its not bad. called 7West.

And there is a Hotel right down town, but Im not sure if has reopened yet. Its called the Heritage Inn. Its a very old hotel that has been completely redone.
