New to the site, but not the game

Hey all;
My name is Matt, I'm 28 and I'm new to the Ottawa Golf Forums. I moved to Ottawa in 2008 but just found out that there were forums on this site not too long ago.

I've been playing golf since I can remember. A few years back, when I was playing quite a bit, I was indexed at a 7.6. Over the last few years I haven't had much time to play so I'm probably between a 12-15 now. I typically play once a week and try to play at a different course each time.

I like to get through a round in 4-4:15 hrs. I typically take my time on the greens reading putts, but I play ready golf everywhere else, so it usually makes for an enjoyable, quick round. I like playing with anyone really, but I find I play better when I'm playing with lower handicap players...seems to make me step up my game.

The best times for me to play are the weekends. If we're playing any public course, then early mornings are best. However, I'd really like to try some of the Clublink courses (the only one I've played is the Talon course at Greyhawk) and to play those, the twilight rates are best for me. I really want to join Clublink, but being a student, it's just too expensive right now
