    Arrow Ribbed or round grips?

What's your preference? Ribbed or round grips and why?

As for myself I prefer ribbed grips as you hold the club in the same exact position time and time again.

I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

    Obviously you're not a golfer.

Not sure I understand the concept here ... I like half cords as I sweat like a pig on the course on hot days. Ribbed or rounded....hmmmm????

It does not keep you from holding it in a different position. However it allows you to align the club in the same position time and time again if you so desire. For example let's say you want to always close the face of your driver. You can align the grip for that purpose and then it will always set up in that position with no variables.

True, but I find the rib uncomfortable in certain positions. It's a great asset if it works for you, though.

It seems like ribbed is going the way of the dino... I like the feel, but its hard to find a grip I like in ribbed.

I just got a set of irons with Ping ID-8s (which I think is pronounced idiots) that I really like...

For those of you that prefer the rib, what grips are you using? I know GP has a couple, but lamkin seems to have fewer, and other companies have none at all... or atleast thats what i see looking through golfworks.
