Too many rumours flying around about this guy, yesterday someone told me it was Neil's wife Heatley was apparently "with" during his time in Ottawa, not Spezza's fiancé. Who knows, it will never come out.

Personal problems aside, where the rubber meets the road, truly great players are measured by their performances when the paycheque's NOT on the table. With the possible exception of 2005/06, he fades into the background when the playoffs start. For a guy that averaged over 40 goals a year for 5 straight years, he should have carried at least one of those teams on his back all the way to a Stanley Cup championship. He's a regular season prima donna who cares about no one but himself.

Heatly has never shown any interest but in himself, on the Team 1200 it was said that he was "spoken" too many times during the year about his one sided play and never changed, funny since he said he wanted an expanded role in Ottawa. I guess he will be talking out of both sides of his mouth in Minny now.
