Speed Stik - gimmick or good stuff?

Has anyone out there tried the V. J. Singh endorsed Speed Stik. Is it worthwhile or just another empty promise?

Depends on what the promise is.

If the promise is a lower handicap and longer straighter drives. Forget it.

This is what I got out of it in the 10 minutes I used it.

    Tempo.

It really shows the user how to generate more club head speed. In order to get more speed you have to swing in tempo with a loose body. If you grip it tight and try to muscle it. It doesn't move as fast. That's probably one of the most difficult things to accept as a golfer. More is often less. It's a pretty good workout too, but that's only 10 minutes swinging it.

    Cheers

Not just good, it's GREAT!!! The best training aid that I have ever used. It has done what they promised for my game. I did buy both sticks so I could do the overload underload drill that they promote. You can see details of that drill at www.golfstuffonline.com/speed-stik.htm

I have used it for a couple months now and have increased my speed by more then 10%. I feel like I am also more consistent and that somehow it has helped make my swing better.

My wife has also increased her speed, but not as much as I have. She doesn't use it as often as I do.

I would give it a try.

Check the guy on the right. I sure wouldn't like to get a taste of his stick.
