What score to put in (played 17 holes)?
Hello everyone, just a quick question about posting a score for handicap purposes.
I started playing golf last year and decided I wanted to track my handicap with Golf Canada (this year). I don't have a handicap yet since I haven't entered enough rounds in.
I played Chateau Cartier monday and we had to skip #1 because of construction so I was wondering how I should score that hole since I didn't play it.
Many thanks.

You enter par plus any handicap strokes.
For example, if your course handicap is an 8 and the rating for hole #1 is 9 then you enter a par. If the rating was 7 then you enter a bogey. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

So what happens if the rating was a 1 and your course handicap was an 8? What would the entry be? And on the other side of things, if the rating is more than your hadicap it's always a par? I have never understood these "adjusted" hadicap systems...

In that case you would still enter a bogey since it is less than your course handicap.
