Haven't stayed there but have driven past there are lots of course around.

The Legends at Orange Lake may be the closests but nothing is too far. There really are lots of good courses in the Orlando area, including Panther Lake, Crooked Cat at Orange County National and any of the DIsney courses and where I have my condo Southern Dunes. Have fun it is going to be HOT.....

Hi;

I just got back from visiting the Orlando area. The Golf Channel has a website called GOLFNOW. I suggest you join. The site has lots of courses in the Orlando area, with deals. I played the four Disney PGA courses after 3:30 for between $35.00 and $39.00. This included a cart with GPS. I also played Champions Gate for $45.00 which included a cart with GPS. Champions Gate is where the PGA plays the Father and Son tournament.

ps: If you arrive at a Disney course early and it's not busy, they'll usually let you out early! Also, membership to GOLFNOW is free!

Cheers,

Jim Crocker

Never been to Bahamas Bay, Orlando though is great golf destination where you'll find at least 45 golf courses. Some were designed by Arnold Palmer. To name a few Disney's Palm Golf Club, Eagle Creek Golf Club, Hunter's Creek Golf Course, Mission Inn, Victoria Hills, Orange Lake Resort, Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club and more.
Have a great golf vacation my friend...
