No shoes ?

A guy on the Big Break II does not wear shoes and this guy says it helps him test out the sand in the bunkers. Lets say he wins the Big Break II and goes on the Nationwide Tour, will he be allowed to play barefoot?

If his game depends on his ability to "test" the sand with bare feet, then I wouldn't worry too much about him making the Tour.

There is no requirement in the Rules to wear shoes.

There is, however, a dress code in the "Conditions of the Competiton" on all professsional Tours.

Sam Snead used to play barefoot. They made shoes manditory because he raised an issue that had never come up before.

Testing the sand is a rules violation isn't it?
