    Round Delayed - Change of Clubs

    The third round of The Players was delayed yesterday to be completed this morning. My understanding is that since this remains a stipulated round, the players must continue to use the same clubs with which they began that round. Is that so?
    Proud member of the 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Ottawa Golf Ryder Cup teams.

    It is. But they may add clubs upto the limit of 14 or or replace a club damaged in the normal course of play.

    On a related note, I was curious if the grounds crew would mow the greens in the AM before they resume play?

    I can see arguements both for and against mowing.
    Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

    Why would it matter? The two rounds are distinct stipulated rounds.

    I meant mowing before the resumption of play of the suspended round.

    There is no problem. The only things on the course that can't be changed are the holes and tee markers.

    Except in top level comps it is not unusual for the ground staff to be working on the course during the competition.
