Best local short game instructor?
Hi all,
I need some help. My short game, say anything inside of 80 yards, is non existant. My game just completely falls apart inside those distances. I have managed to limit my 3 putts to no more than about 5 per round put my analysis even of the 3 putts is more an approach issue. I manage to shoot in the mid to high 80's but realize if I am ever going to get that score down I am going to have to find someone to work with me on the short game.....

I can say that Graham Gunn helped my putting immensely in a single lesson. He can be found out at White Sands in Orleans. I can also say Dave Kalil is very good as he helped me with wedge play a few years ago. He works out of the Hunt but can teach general public there.

What helped me the most was a rangefinder! I zap anything over 30 yards to know which club to use and how hard to hit it. I no longer fear the short game, I look forward to it.

I'm with you on the 3-putts and putting. My short game is brutal. Shot an 88 yesterday with 42 putts I went to Foley last year for a set of 3 lessons, (driver, irons, short game), and I'm going to do it again, but probably just concentrate on short game the entire time.
