Prettiest and Ugliest PGA tour swings

Who do you think have the prettiest and ugliest swings on tour? I could watch Fred Couples and Vijay Singh hit balls all day long . As for ugly swings, my God I want to gouge out my eyes when I watch Matt Kuchar, or Tommy Gainey hit a shot. I know they're amazing golfers, and I know they can beat me blindfolded, but they have ugly swings.

I love Ernie Els' golf swing, so smooth! Is Kuchar's really that bad?

Kuchar's swing is really flat. For a tall guy, it looks really awkward (can't argue with the results though..)

You clearly haven't seen my swing if you think Kuchar's is flat.

Oh wait, this was for PGA tour swings. Nevermind.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Gainey, Barnes and Herron made me cringe today. Donald's is smooth but not as technically sound as guys like Mahan or O'Hair. Mahan has the nicest modern swing on tour in my opinion.

Big fan of Adam Scott's simple swing (damn long putter is bad though) and of course Tommy Gainey is cleaning up in the ugly category . . that swing is a mess
Even I've never heard of me

Agree. Ironically, both Mahan and O'Hair are now students of Sean Foley. (Along with TW)

For being simple and fundamentally correct, watch the swing of Song Hee Kim.

Tommy Gainey takes the cake in the ugly department. It looks like he is swinging a bat, guess that's why he wears two gloves.

Heron would make me cringe even if had the best swing on tour. There's something wrong with seeing all that flab on a professional athlete.

As for prettiest, I tend to like smooth swingers that look like they're not even trying to hit the ball, no matter how technically correct they are. So, Freddy, Ernie and Geoff Ogilvy take the cake.

I say hands down Bill Haas as the nicest most technically sound golf swing.

I still think Freddy's swing is the nicest to watch.. Kaymer is really good too. Gaineys is horrible... but yes effective.

Love: Freddy, Adam Scott, Ernie, Luke Donald

Ugly: Tommy Gainey (though I'll take that swing any day!), Furyk, Tiger (at times),
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Pretty Ugly: Kenny Perry, Lee Trevino, Colin Montgomerie, Jim Furyk
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

Never heard Elk's swing described as pretty, but to each his own I guess... To me he looks like a caveman swinging a toothpick while trying not to break it

When i first saw Tommy Gaineys swing , i was gob-smacked at how terrible it looks , but after watching him in a few tourneys .. i'm still gob-smacked !

Vijay , Freddy , and Ernie , make it look effortless
At the end of the day ... It gets dark

No doubt about it - Fred Couples will be hitting the ball when he's in his eightys without breaking a sweat. Nothin' prettier on the tour to watch...
