    Does This Make Sense???

So for my first two rounds of the year I've been hitting mostly weak fades/pushes/slices to the right. So for the last three holes at Dragonfly I went back to basics starting with keeping my lead arm (left arm) tight to my chest. Lo and behold, solid, straight contact.

Would this be one of the key fundamentals to a strong, accurate swing? And just to make sure it wasn't a three hole fluke, I went home and hit about six more shots into my back field with similar results.

I might be off with what you are describing, but I think you're on the right track. You will see a lot of tour players put gloves under their armpits to make sure they are "staying connected" through the swing. You may be doing something similar by what you describe. Using the sense of keeping something under your armpits to see if you experience the same sensation.

Yes. If you are truly pushing the ball, the face is open the same number of degrees that the path is from the inside. The path angle is ideal but the face is open because your hands may be going "down the line." By the left arm/chest connection, the hands are starting to come around, the ideal way to square up the club face without manipulation.

Question; when using the glove method for training, at what point should the glove fall out of your armpit grip?
