Free Rules Clinic
Gerry (gbower) and I have discussed the possibility of giving a free clinic to any Ottawa Golf Forum members who may be interested in increasing their knowledge of the Rules of Golf. We would hold the clinic in the early evening of a week day at our home course, Greensmere Golf Club, in late May.
While most of the basic rules regarding lost ball, out of bounds, teeing ground, unplayable ball, wrong ball, wrong place and water hazards will be covered, emphasis will be placed on lifting dropping and placing when taking relief from obstructions, casual water, grounds under repair, embedded ball and wrong putting green. Our experience when officiating has shown that 90%+ of our rulings involve taking relief from the conditions mentioned above, and secondly, that even the knowledge of many better players in this area, is lacking.
If any of you are interested in participating in this clinic, you can either indicate in a reply below or send one of us a private message to indicate that you are. Let us know what day(s) would be best you.
We will get back to those interested at a later date with final details.

I would definitely be interested. I will be traveling in May for a period of time. Will check my office calendar and PM you directly. Much appreciated.
