    My First Bettinardi (BB8)

I've been looking for a new putter to give a go. I've been playing with an Anser style for a long time so I wasn't really looking to change styles. I went with a Bettinardi BB8 and it's one of the cleanest looking putters I've seen. I'll get a chance to bring it to the course for the first time Friday. For you Bettinardi guys, how do you find distance control compares to other putters you've played?

What's the weight on the BB8?

My Hoganardi is the same shape as a BB8 and it is 329g and I haven't had any issues with distance control. As mentioned in the other thread I'm messing around with a new putter that is a little heavier (345g) so I'm not sure which is better for me yet.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Mine is 360g and it's been in my bag for more than a year. Knowing how much of a ho I am, it tells you how comfortable I feel on the green with this putter. The BB8 DASS knocked out the BB1 DASS I played for a year. I'm sold to Bettinardi putters especially the Anser/Newport II style.

I've got a BB0 fit face that is buttery smooth. Keep trying to get some bag time, but it's third or fourth on the back up list...

My carbon BB5 has great feel and great speed. That said, I find most carbon putters have a similar feel for me. Not sure it differs a whole lot from one manufacturer to another when the materials and manufacturing process are the same.
