I SHOULDA had a birdie (3 putt from 15 feet after 2 great shots on par 5 # 11)
I WOULDA held it together for an ok round (5 over through 11 and the swing starting to come together)
I COULDA gone in with my playing partners after quadruple bogeying #12 (they left after the rain started to come down, I hid under a tree for 5 minutes and finished my round in the damp windy conditions)

Just an awful day in the wind, rain and a poorly timed bad putt.

You don't know the half of it. I sprained my ankle pretty bad this weekend while camping. I'm not sure my swollen up foot would even fit in a golf shoe right now

I believe I'm at 23 full rounds. On average I golf every other day.

2 Birdies in Flagstick Shootout at Smugglers Glen this past weekend, chipped in for birdie on 11 (playing as 2 for the tournament), and birdied 1 (playing as 10 for the tournament) after hitting the green in 2 and missing my eagle putt (played as par 5 from all tees for tournament, normally par 4 from the back).

2 more tonight in the crazy wind. Rivermead #11 and #15 (finally!! the 317 yard par 4 had eluded me all season and it took a 30 foot downhill putt to finally birdie it!!)

A whole week without a bird! I had one birdie yesterday into the wind on a par 5. Tee shot 250 yards, then hit driver off the deck (fluffy rough) 240 yards, 60 yard SW, 1 putt.

Snuck a few holes in today (14 holes in about 2 hours, skipped a couple to avoid waiting) and managed a tap in birdie on #11 after putting the eagle putt 6 inches behind the hole (at least I wasn't short

Broke the drought today. Took the day off work because things are slow right now, worked on my game a bunch. It paid off when I snuck in a quick 18 on Greensmere Premier back 9 and Legacy front 9 to avoid the crowds.

Premier #11 - High push into the wind left 230 to the green, sweet 3 wood blind shot to the right side 25 ft from the pin, rolled in the birdie putt

Premier #18 - Pulled drive, but got a lucky bounce and good lie just outside the left hazard, 3 wood to 50 yards, bad kick sent wedge shot long onto the back fringe, putt from fringe dead center, roughly 20ft range

The couple of chances I had to putt for birdie on Legacy were stymied by recently aerated and heavily sanded greens. Seriously, I've played out of bunkers at some courses with less sand in them

I made the smart birdie after everyone else hit driver on #13 at Stonebridge today (4 iron and little pitch shot to 2 feet).
