Soft Spikes
Wondering if anybody has a "tip" to make the removal of soft spikes a little easier. I usually change mine after 30 rounds or so. Getting ready for the new season and had a bugger of a time in getting the old spikes out. They had been in over the winter and the grit and grime had set pretty good. Thought I was going to ruin the shoe or break the tool. Would a little drop of oil, WD40 or maybe a little white grease help? Thanks for the advice.

A little drop of oil when you install them does help, but that was mostly with the old spikes that were threaded in the shoe. Not sure if it would have much effect on the new click spikes. Best advice is make sure you clean out the holes for the tool really good before trying to torque them off. Invest in a good strong tool too, not the little metal one that used to come with the spikes.

Best advice is to clean/remove them right away at the end of the season.
I've never had a problem with softspikes but on the old metal ones I used to put a little vaseline on them before I put them in and that prevented the threads from locking up. It might also work on the softspikes. Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Just soak the soles of the shoes in some hot water for 10 minutes or so. Loosens up all the dirt and sand they they come right out without too much effort.
