Cool 2 golf swings to get feedback on...

    Hi everyone...

I am posting 2 short clips of my golfswing for everyone to watch and get feedback from. The videos were shot last summer and the last one of my 3 1/2 yr old son was last week (pretty proud of him). Looking forward to reading the comments and suggestions about where to fix the swing kinks.

I dont think I have a big shoulder turn (flexibilty can be an issue some days)...which I would like to work on this year if possible.

    shane.

Wow what did you do over the winter, yoga, eat well? You look so much younger!

As for the top vid i think you need to supply a look from behind you as it would be much more telling.

Nothing wrong with the second one. Kid piped it right down the middle.
When applying the Rules, you follow them line by line. You don't read between them.

I happened to click on the vid and didnt realize it was you untill you looked up. Your swing has a nice rhythm and balanced follow through. Try and get those hips turned before you start your down swing and you will see the club naturally follows. This guy explains it better.

Hey Shane, I also think that your shoulder turn is too fast and short. from looking at your swing i noticed that you are a little too hunched over the ball. try bringing your chest and your chin up but keep the angulation in your hips. that should make the turning of your shoulders and hips easier and will also eliminate your sway. Although it may not feel like it, turning through the ball gets you much more distance than swaying through it.
