So went in to Golftown today to check on what was happening with the driver I sent back and rather than putting a new head on the old shaft, they sent me a brand new Razr Hawk with the specs as close as possible to my old driver. Can't complain about that, I just hope it holds together better than the last one. I can't fault Callaway for their custoemr Service though!

Now I know why I play TM drivers. Never had a problem with a TaylorMade driver yet.
My opinions are my own, I do not follow others.

Callaway had a fitting on Friday but because of lightning I wasn't able to get fitted. So they told me to come to Greyhawk on Saturday to get fitted. I hit a few shots with the FT Tour and it SHATTERED!!! There was a hole in the head the size of a walnut. WTF is wrong with these Callaway drivers???
The Callaway rep said "That will be $400, Sir". lol.You only get out of something what you put into it

That does it I will never buy a Callaway composite driver, too bad because I have played Callaway drivers for years.
Obviously you're not a golfer.

Well, ten days ago I heard a popping sound coming out of the head of the NEWEST Callaway head, and also the shaft is new because Callaway replaced it a few weeks prior. So I sent it back to Callaway AGAIN to inspect it. They say they are willing to replace the head with the new Razr Hawk Tour head, and keep the new shaft I sent them.
I am sad that I won't have an FT Tour anymore but I heard the Razr is even better. I dont care, I just want to be able to hit any driver for a few months without it falling apart on me!You only get out of something what you put into it

I traded my Cally FT-9 I-mix because I just couldnt hit it and because of the potential of the above problems described for another R7 Superquad (TP). Having said that, my original R7 superquad is now broken somewhere on the inside. The face has let go and the reason(s) I suspect this is because that distinct ''ping'' sound isnt there anymore and according to the launch monitor, I could only muster a smash factor of 1.32 with a club speed of 100 mph and that was hitting it pretty much in the center of the club. Even a buddy of mine who sells this gear and loves TM said he has never seen anything like it. Until he caved the face of his R9 in about a week later in B.C. at a tourny.
I am going to send it in and see what they say. On the phone, they told me they didnt have a replacement head to send me, so they would send a similar specd R11 and I would pay the retail cost minus a %. The % is great enough for me to consider sending it in. I will be sending it back in the fall so I can get it ready for next year.
Too bad your luck is so bad with Cally drivers Nokids. That Razr is supposed to be pretty nice.

Holy crap. How did I not see this thread earlier. My callaways have been excellent in the past, but now I'm reconsidering my decision for the I-Mix system and a new ft-9.....

This is why I went with Wishon for my new driver this summer after many happy years of playing Callaway drivers.

I am curious to hear how people honestly treat their equipment. I have been playing Callaway equipment for years and I have never had to send something back. Maybe I am just lucky...

I beat my clubs every time they act up. If they could speak they'd call child protective services on me.

I have a Diablo Edge that has never given me problems. The FT-9 broke after a year; and the FT Tour is made of glass (broke 3 this year).
btw i dont beat my clubs, but i did whack my bag once and broke the shaft of my 3wood.You only get out of something what you put into it

Callaway must have gotten some spare parts recently because the Razr Hawk just came in for me today! Can't wait to rip that baby.
