I think it's safe to say that if there's truly an affordable software solution to pair with a GC2, the LX is cooked. His window is closed.

agreed, he should just drop the LX and get working on the surround products before someone beats him to that as well.

bubba,
I still follow the GSA LX tech reports. The upward climb in Martin's pricing means my following them is just a matter or curiosity - when I add in the price of having to fly down to FLA and see the thing working before I purchase it, well then I might as well get a GC2.
I am hoping that what you keep hinting is in the works comes sooner than later.

I am going to be in Naples this Jan for a family vacation. I will have to pay Martin a visit.

Bubba,
If you do that, I'd be quite interested to learn what you find out.

I will be there after the PGA show, in fact the weekend of the show. I will definitely go to see Martin. I suspect there will be lots of stuff coming from this years show.

I agree with you bubba, I have spent a lot of time researching these past few weeks and have seen a few hints that some of the sim companies will have some new things to show at this coming years PGA show. I am holding off all of my major purchases until then just to see what might be out there. I hope to have everything else built by then though.

The latest tech news tells us that the LX Pro redefines the "foot wedge".
The last two tech news tell us the LX pro can't tell the difference between the ball, a hand, a foot, or a leg. I say: "ship it".

Has the end come?

Enough is enough...the latest December 17th post is one hugemongus BS. None of this matters anyway. Very, very soon, the lx and gsa will essentially be ”launched” into a black hole were they belong.

I wonder how often the spin will be calculated and not measured?

It's not a launch monitor. It's a launch estimator. I can do that with foam balls against a wall.
But my favorite part of Martin's post today is how he just figured out the LX doesn't work outside a controlled environment. What an idiot! That's because he is just now conducting preliminary testing. The customers are all in his shop.

GSA]Note: if the system cannot detect a spin line or logo on the ball then ball spin will be calculated instead of measured.

Ugh...more new products suddenly posted on the site. LX Elite. Scrambling and grasping at straws trying to figure out what might actually work...
