Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G Grip?
Anyone tried the Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G grips?
I just bought a set for my KZG irons and all the online feedback and reviews talk about how bad they are in the rain. I may exchange them for something else like the new GP VDR grip.Last edited by Break68; 03-05-2011 at 05:06 PM.

Shouldn't be a problem with the 2G's. Just make sure the butt of the shaft is about .620" if the grip core is .600".

I am hoping I can use air for these ones for the install process.

My buddy has these and hates them. They feel great until any moisture hits them. At the sim when he sweat they he didn't like them and then in the rain he hated them more.

I haven't hit them on the course yet, but they feel horrible in my hands and I am starting to wonder why I bought them.
They look cool but they don't feel good in the hand. There is pages and pages of guys complaining about these grips on golfwrx.com forums.
I will go hit some balls in the park tonight and see how they feel.Obviously you're not a golfer.

Rainy Day
Played with my friend yesterday in the rain. Tried his tour wraps and the club nearly flew out of my hands several times. He had a real tough time hanging on to them. My new decades performed amazing with not grip problems what so ever.

It is amazing how many times I have read that exact post on golfwrx.com and other forums about these grips.
I will try them tonight and see what happens.
I may have some grips up for sale, any takers? LOL
I wonder if Golftown would let me exchange them for something else?Obviously you're not a golfer.

The golftowns around here are pretty good especially if you get to know the managers and staff. I would drop in and see them before even using them to voice your concerns. Also try their customer service email as well. They respond very fast and the customer is always first.

I played the KZG irons for the first time with the Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G grips and they are pretty amazing. I don't know how they will be in the wet and rain.
Obviously you're not a golfer.
