    Question PGA vs Champions Tour

    Thursday, 3 00 PM... Click... The Golf Channel... or so I thought... LIVE coverage of... Nick Price?... and Kenny Perry?...flip, flip, flip... no, right channel... flip, flip, flip... supposed to be the Honda Classic...
    Can anyone shed a little light why guys from the Champions Tour are playing on the PGA Tour? Are these sponsor's exemptions to attract viewers? What about all the young up and comers trying to make a living and getting established? Being replaced by guys, we all know, have no hope in winning. Don't get me wrong, I'm 60 and enjoy watching guys my age play golf... BUT NOT on the PGA tour!

    Personally I love seeing the "old" guys playing on the PGA Tour, but only when they are doing well. I agree they are taking a spot that some young guy with potential could have but for me there's nothing better than seeing Fred Couples in contention on a Sunday! I am more glued to the TV when this happens than when someone in the top 20 is in contention. Maybe if the "old" guys want to keep playing they should not be granted any sponsers exemptions but have to Monday qualify or continue playing the PGA tour and earn the right to play?

    Willing to watch anyone playing well and Fred is a favourite of mine...sweet swing... but still...
