Project X Rifle 5.0 Flighted shafts

Does anyone have experience playing Project X Rifle 5.0 Flighted shafts, and if so how would you compare them to the following - i.e. which do they more closely resemble?

    - Dynamic Gold Stiff 300
    - DG Regular 300

I've searcherd the Internet and found some info but am looking for some home-based experience to weigh-in here!

i've done a bit of research on the px line up, a 6.0 flighted equals a 5.5 NON flighted, they say the 5.5 non flighted is a tad stiffer then the s300, i play the flighted 6.0 and have tried the non flighted 6.0 and can tell you there both considerably stiffer then the s300. I would assume the 5.0 flighted would be close to the r300 maybe a little softer.

I got fitted last year and was paired up with 5.0s.
Hit my new 5.0 flighted shafts today for the first time and was killing them. Get fitted and you will love the results.

adam781, where did you get fitted?
I am thinking of getting fitted for Project X shafts.
    Obviously you're not a golfer.

I got fitted by a Mizuno club fitter and 5.0s were my best fit.
I did some reading about flighted vs non-flighted and decided that I wanted to go the flighted route to get my long irons a bit higher.

I was fitted for the PX shafts at the PGA Superstore in Atlanta. Tried quite a few - flighted and not, between 6.0 and 5.0 - and settled on the non-flighted 5.5s.

Will be going back in April to get fitted for my woods / hybrids.

Adam781 - do you know what your average swing speed is with your irons?

Not really no. Last time I was in at golftown I was hitting a couple drivers and getting between 95 and 105 mph but there is a lot more to getting the proper shafts than just speed.

The Mizuno guy was really good about showing me all the parameters that are measured during the iron fitting. It seemed to me that transition at the top and tempo were just as important (if not more so) as swing speed.

I will get fitted for a driver shaft whenever I buy a new driver but am sticking with the one I have for now as I can get it to work a decent amount of the time.

I think a ton of people on here will agree with me on this one: the best money you can spend is to get properly fitted by a professional as opposed to trying to self diagnose yourself based on swing speed alone.

Thanks. I agree totally. Except I know my swing pretty well and gave into a temptation to buy a set of Callaway X-Forged irons with the Project X Rifle Flighted 5.0s in them, for a ridiculously low price ($200). I will get fitted and if these turn out to be the right shafts for me, I'm in business, and if not then I'll be flipping them on this Website and doing as you did - custom made.
