    Practice Balls

We have all wrote in on some different golf balls but some shops are only available in different countries and areas.

Some have posted about I believe their called Golf Town or something like that Foam Practice balls and they are the best. Where can you find them to get them? Is it only in a store in Canada?
    Thanks for all the help!!

Good question. I would also like to know the answer. I'm using the Almost Golf balls, but they are yellow and I would love to have white ones.

I have almost every limited flight ball there is. My favorite is the World of Golf Ball as well as the Brush T ball. The Almost balls are good but are quite light and get destroyed quite easy. I still use all the balls. The Cayman balls are heavy and reverse dimpled so they look weird. The Callaway balls are very light and bouncy. The initial ball speed is best with the Brush T ball as well as the Cayman balls. That is the same findings that the Golftek folks found when they tested the balls with their simulators early last year.

Where can you buy the World of Golf Practice Balls of that exact model your talking about?
What makes it the best in your opinion?
    Thanks!

    Here you go http://www.golftown.com/30-Distance-...lls-P1297.aspx.
Golf Town is a golf chain I think just in Canada similair to Edwin Watts or Golf Galaxy. I like these balls and the Brush T balls. The Almost balls are somewhat lighter but good balls as well.

Regarding practice golf balls... my favourite is "The Floppy"...
I have a bucket of 100pcs and use it with my indoor simulator... again its all about what you are looking for... but as far as "practice" balls go - "The Floppy" is #1 for me by far... great physical feedback and forgiving on walls, windows, furniture, projector screen etc...

I have the floppy. I don't think it is great for sim use. It is great to hit in the house against a wall or something. It is just as it says very floppy and kind like hitting a hacka sack. I personally would try the Brush T, Jef World of Golf or Cayman ball to give a more reaslistic feel.

I bought the JEF world of golf balls today and just finished playing a round......these balls have the closest feel to a real ball that I've tried....I've only ever used the yellow topflight foam balls (similar to the Callaway practice balls) and the balls that came with the optishot and they cannot compare to the feel you get at impact...I will be using these for now on..just have to be a bit more carefull as these are harder and can cause some damage with miss hits.

I told you so. They are great balls. The Brush T balls look like they have a greater initial ball speed however. I really like the Jef world of golf ball feel.

Bubba are you concerned regarding the initial ball speed because of launch angle software? Can a practice ball give you reliable info regarding the launch angle? I'll have a look at the Brush T and the JEF - haven't tried those out yet...

No initial ball speed will influence the distance of the shot. My testing with the limited flight balls (using the Vector Cobra LM and P3pro launch add on) show their launch angles to be very close to real balls. I suspect the spin may be different but I am not sure. Perhaps the GC2 owners could look at the spin numbers with the limited flight balls.
