No Spikel, I would say go for it. If you get the itch to upgrade then it is easily done once you have all the background things in place. Enjoy the dd.

Bubba is absolutely right, Spikel. You won't regret it.

Well I'm really glad to hear all the good reviews. When I got the Qmotions (worst simulator ever) for $250 a couple years ago, I expected something like this. Now it looks like the technology actually exists, and I'm definitely going to buy. Now I just need to find a space to put it.

    Thanks for all the help!

I had a golf launchpad which is similar to qmotion...actually went through 2 in one month as it kept breaking down...decided to try the Optishot after reading about it on this forum..glad I did...have a lot of fun with it and I find it to be fairly accurate for me...other than the issues of fat and thin shots...but I can live with that...I got it to keep my swing and game active in the winter and when I can't get out to the course....and just to have fun...I think you'll like it

Yeah I've seen those, they seem pretty similar though the Launchpad looks like it actually has sensors and stuff. The Qmotions didn't have any sensors or anything, it was a very poor product. Excited about getting this now, thanks!

One last question. I've come across another issue which is space. How well does this thing work outdoors?

Hmm, I'll figure something out, definitely motivated enough to.
