Vacation suggestions
Planning a vacation with a buddy of mine for February. I was aiming for Punta Cana, DR; but would consider other DR destinations or other countries as well (Barbados, Mexico meh, Jamaica). We want to party like wild animals for a week, so the only criteria are a vibrant nightlife, costs under $1,250 per person all inclusive, and beautiful beaches . . . . . nice clean beaches.
Any suggestions?

I don't know about the night life, and the golf is just ok, but the Beaches in Varadero Cuba are awesome!!!

You will have a hard time finding anything in Barbados all inclusive at that price but none the less it's a glorious place to go party!! Punta Cana is a safe cheap bet.

In terms of a party Barbados is awesome but it is expensive. I spent 10 days there and there was a huge party every night at a different bar. By the end of it we were toast.
Punta cana is quiet as is veradero.I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Cancun 4 Star at the Barcelo Costa Cancun for $965 tax in leaving on Feb 3rd? I haven't done a all-inclusive in a few years so I'm not sure if that's a good price or not.Let's put a Smile on that Face!

It's a good price Hoolio.
I'm leaning towards Riu Palace las Americas in Cancun. It's a short walk to Cancun's party epicenter, I've found all inclusive for under $1200, and it's a 5 star. I'll wait for a last minute deal and hopefully save some mullah.

Spend some money and go to Barbados, you won't regret it. The Jolly Roger is pretty much an all day party on the ocean on a huge pirate ship, complete rip zone. You will not forget it.

lol, we did that, it was a blast, but staying out til 4 in the morning, drinking the night before was probably not the smartest idea in the world seeing as the cruise left at 9am. Nothing a few rum punches couldn't fix though.
Ahh, the Gap, The Boatyard, Harbour Lights, I remember it oh so barely....
The nice thing about Barbados is you can travel around and its pretty safe, we took lots of local buses and never felt unsafe anywhere or anytime.I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Yeah my buddy is scared of going to Mexico. He's been watching too much CBC. I told him we're going to Cancun not Tijuana!

Been there, it's an awesome place. Very commercial/American in the area and we felt very safe walking home from a bar crawl at 4am, although that was before all the fighting. Coco Bongo is a must if you want to party all night. Be sure to get in on the bar crawl deal (Coco Bongo included), otherwise it costs you over $60 to get into CB on it's own.

Another destination that you may consider is Cabo, Mexico.

I forgot to mention Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. There are 2 RIU Palaces within a short walk and the hotels are in a gated community. Also, each palace has liquor dispensers in every room.

I might be posting in an old thread but I would like to share anyway. The Links Course in Casa de Campo is also a good golf destination. It has a moderately hilly track with tall bahia and guinea grass roughs as well as plenty of sand traps to keep you on your toes.
