    New Taylor Made stuff

I just had the pleasure of seeing this years TM line and I have to say I was very impressed. I didn't get to hit it but visually everything looks great. Favs are the r11 white driver, r11 fairways, and the MB iron. The white driver looks great. I wasn't sure what to expect but wow. Loved it. The white paint on the r11 has a Matt finish, also the head shape is more traditional. The MB irons are sweet. You better have your A game though they are tiny.

Forget 2.4.11 - for anyone that is interested, the Golf Town in Kanata received an early shipment of the new R11 and Burner 2.0 and they are on the floor for sale and demo-ing in their sims.

I guess with all the hype, I was just expecting a little bit more Still on the fence about Burner but thinking I may go another way instead...

Golf Town Kanata had them out on Friday night. Hit one in the Stimulater didn't think to much about them. No pop, was hitting 2 others the same consistently 310-320. no difference in club head speed at all. I guess if you like to tinker, then there is a lot to tinker with. me I like to get a driver I like and stay with it and learn it, have had ones to tinker with and never tinkered. not a bad looking head, I didn't feel like puking when I saw it. Will not be putting one in my bag.

Wow, 310 and 320 with the driver?. Who needs new equipment. I would take 220 right now.

Distance has never been my problem I did compete on the long drive circuit growing up, but I am getting old and not hitting it as far

just as an aside...the commercial on Golf Channel with the kids singing "one of these things is not like the other things" has been shown ad nausem to the point where I know have a Pavlovian response to want to break anything with TM on it

I no longer have Golf Channel, but I am sure I would feel the same way.
    Obviously you're not a golfer.

    Thumbs down

Hit the R11 at the Trainyard yesterday. I, for one, can't stand the white matt finish! Call me a traditionalist, but clubheads should not be white, pink, blue or any other 'colour'. I know some like to stand out on the tee...I just prefer to do it with the end result...lol I am a TM guy, but not this time round!
