Canada Wins Gold
Is anybody else pissed off about what they heard last night after the Canadians defeated the Americans at the olympics. The Americans had put the Canadaian flag on the floor of their dressing room as a constant reminder that the Canadians were always breathing down their necks. Haley Wickenheiser's comment was the best and I hope that the ignorant Americans heard what she said.
" I know that the Americans had our flag on the floor of their dressing room, now I want to know if the want us to sign it"
I am extremly happy that we beat them on their own soil, especially after they had not lost in 35 games this year!!
GO CANADA GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

YES WE CAN!!!!!!
AND YES WE DID.....................
Canada DOES own GOLD!!!
Double GOLD that is.
Now if there was ever any doubt, this should put it to rest....at least for the next four years........ but ahhhhhh what a final.
Congrats to all our athletes!!!
By the way....does anybody know how many athletes Canada did send to Salt Lake? I would like know the ratio of medals per country. I beleive Canada should win this hands down. My last count is more than 75 medals in total (23 men and 23 women for hockey, 5 each for speed skating 4x4, 5 each for curling, at least another 11 medals)

I believe Canada sent 158 athletes to the games so you can start to figure it out from there.... good luck!
