Golftown Lessons
So I am watching the Haney Project marathon and it reminded me that I had meant to ask here about Golftown lessons. Who has done this before and did you find them effective? I have never taken a real golf lesson before but was thinking about doing a set of lessons over the winter to help curb the golf itch and help to start off the season right. Gatineau would be my ideal location except 1) the instruction would need to be in english (could be possible for all I know) and 2)the lessons are more expensive (3 45min for 195 vs. 5 45min for 200). Any recommendations on teachers at Trainyards location? It is closer then the Kanata store. Thanks for the advice.

Don't mess with your swing my friend... but if you must
Call and set up a meet with the teaching pro at each location and
go with the one who you think can help you the most. Language
shouldn't be an issue at either location. Good luck with your quest.

Call Marc Levac and get a lesson at the Super Dome in Blackburn, assuming he's still there.

Would I be better off waiting until closer to the end of the winter leading into the golf season? I may be taking a golf trip in March so I don't know if I want to do some before then or just go on the trip and be happy to be playing and then come back and try to improve moving into the season. Thanks for the input so far.

i was fortunate enough to win an oac membership, its like $600 for the season, local instructors 3-4 instructors there from 9am-9pm 7days a week, ive been taking tips from Mike Kennedy man is a genious i consider myself a decent player, ive never believed in lessons but after 2 weeks there I believe this man when he tells me he's gonna turn me into a golf machine. Ive seen myself on video twice now and can feel and see the difference, with just a few tweaks, recommend this place to anyone serious about there game, plus you have access to swimming and sauna.
