    The Trifecta

    No, this isn't about horse racing. Rather, I'm speaking of the outstanding results in Saturday's sporting events, at least for this fan. The Sens aced the Leafs 3-0. The Canadiens, with the able assistance of Carey "good thing he wasn't traded" Price, humbled the Sabres 3-1. And last, but not least, the Fighting Irish with a true freshman at the helm finished the year 7-5 after beating USC in California. It was their first victory over the Trojans since 2001. All is perfect in the sporting world.
    Proud member of the 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 Ottawa Golf Ryder Cup teams.

    My Thanksgiving weekend was ruined in the Friday night game...Boise State losing to Nevada on two short field goal misses.
