    .335 Shaft into a .350 Head

I am wondering if it's possible to put a smaller diameter shaft into a larger diameter head. I have no idea if the lingo is correct and I hope this makes sense...forgiveness please.

I would like to put a aftermarket shaft in a new driver that I have purchased however it seems as though the shafts that I would like are all smaller than the head.

Yes, it's done all the time. You just need a brass shim (http://www.golfworks.com/product.asp_Q_pn_E_SHIM) to get the shaft diameter to match the head.

    Shim

When using a shim does it affect feel or stiffness of shaft?
    Obviously you're not a golfer.

I would say no, as I've played many shimmed and unshimmed clubs. But as usual, there will be some that say they can feel/see a difference.

I'd like to do a blind test with those guys.

Onlly .15 difference. Frequency will not be affected by a shim. Too light a weight to make even a tiny difference. That is if you're comparing apples with apples.
