    no body turn

Since my last post in this thread, I realized poor wedge play is not only set up but an arms only type move which is easy to fall prey to in the shorter shots. Practice making shots from a good setup using only your body to move the club. Amazing how the crisp shots become automatic when you pivot through the shot even without a weight shift as in these shorts shot the body must move the club. If the arms take over they disconnect and can go anywhere, hence the fat and thin shots.

Like a couple of guys have pointed out, the way to solve this is practice.

Go to the range and just hit a pile of SWs at that distance.
Not fat anymore. Need to get better at golf now!

Alot of people make big mistakes in their setup and takeaways. In the full swing they have time to correct their swing but this is often not the case in the small pitch shots. Make sure the club isnt getting too far behind you during the first part of the takeawy. At level the butt of the club should point parallel to the target.

Play the ball just back of center with an open stance and swing 3/4 back and through. You have to aim a bit more left because it will cut a bit. You can lean the shaft forward a bit and get a nice punch shot with lots of spin.

My method is to watch people who seem to know what they're doing (I really do like watching some of them lady golfers on TV) and then practice a lot.
Even I've never heard of me
