What golf course to play in Cancun?

Going to Cancun the week just before Christmas...

    Wondering what course to play:
    - Cancun golf course (Pok-Ta-Pok)
    - Hilton Park
    - Moon Palace (although at $250 US, it's very expensive)

I played Playacar in Playa del Carmen 3 years ago, so I want to try a different one.

Anybody played one of the three courses above? Let me know what you think of them.

    Thanks

Hilton and Pok-Ta-Pok are both on the lagoon side, watch out for the 'Gators.

I'll be renting clubs... If you could let me know what type of clubs they rent, I'd appreciate. Thanks

Take the ferry over to Cozumel and play Cozumel Golf and Country club.. It is in amazing shape as of last year..Who knows now about the "Hurricane season" It is about $110.00 Excellent shape and very demanding bring a lot of balls. It is a Nicklaus design and it is awesome with a lot of risk reward shots. Played it many times last year.

    Cheers my friend

I played Pok-ta-Pok Golf Club in Cancun. It has a Mayan feel to it, as ancient ruins are scattered throughout the course. Many holes play right out to the Caribbean Sea as well, providing a stunning view from several greens. Robert Trent Jones Sr. has designed this classic beauty, a modest 6,602 yards from the tips. But the course ain’t cheap. It is least $125 for non-members, especially during Mexico’s peak golf season from mid-December to May, that is when ur going. So be prepared to shell out quite a bit. http://www.travelgolfmexico.com/features/cancun-golf-destination-650.htm
