    question about bend mark

I just bought a forged blades, and asked a clubmaker to bend these blades to my spec. All irons left with a small and flat bend marks near numbers in the sole. Clubmaker said coz it's forged, they are very very soft, so that part is so easy to get bend mark, and can't be avoided even used protectors. is this true?? we will have to have bend marks when we bend forged irons?

Yup, bend marks are a common occurrence with soft forgings. There are some tools out there to try and protect the clubs from bend marks, but they don't always work.

Perhaps buffing them with a nylon wheel will smooth them out.

I regret to bend my new forged irons. It's just 1 degree upright, doesn't make huge diffierent if I don't bend them...

As soon as you play one round of golf with them you will have marks all over the soles of the irons. Don't sweat it.
