Cell Phone Book Transfer
Long shot here. I currently have a Telus Mike phone but my company has just switched to Rogers and sent me a new phone. I want to transfer my contacts from the sim card in my Telus Mike phone to the sim card in my new Rogers phone, rather than manually entering 476 contacts. I can't seem to find a way on the internet to do this and Rogers says they cannot do it. I feel there must be a way. Does anyone have any ideas?

can you sync it to your outlook account and then resync on your new phone? perhaps that only works for iphones, etc.
I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.

Sometimes it's possible to save your contacts to your SIM card, then put the SIM card in your new phone and sync it to the new phone.
This depends on the two phones, as there isn't really a standard layout to address books.

You may want to post the two models of phones. We're currently switching phones at work, and unfortuately while our old Sanyo's could send contacts via bluetooth to each other, an iPhone does not accept this service from the sanyos. Maybe if you are lucky you can link the two phones using bluetooth and send the contacts wirelessly.
More info on the phones would likely help you get answers.Let's put a Smile on that Face!
