    Florida (Orlando) vs. Myrtle Beach

    Our group is looking for something different next Spring (mid-April) and seeking for info on golf in the Orlando area and how it compares to that found in MB SC. Interested in accommodation, courses and attractions (for 50 something golfers, not Disney World). In the past we have stayed at Myrtlewood and played golf at places like Tiger's Eye, MB National and the International. Got a great package in the mail yesterday from GolfPac.com and it looks well served but nothing better than personal references. Thanks in advance...

    I would suggest Myrtle Beach (obviously). If you haven't tried the Legends Special, then this would be a great time, free round of golf, free breakfast, free lunch and free beer. Drop us a line for more details and pricing.

    Orlando April = Heat and humidity. Florida in April, stick with the coast.

    April in Myrtle is nice and warm for golf. The courses are in great shape and there are lots of courses to choose from, much more than Orlando.
    It could be that the purpose of your life is only to serve as a warning to others.

    The group are looking for something a little different. One guy has a buddy in the travel business offering what sounds to be a great deal with 4 br condo, flight, golf and a vehicle. Our other alternative is "the beach" in MB SC. Still doing the research...

    Having been to MB the last 13 years in April, the weather is not guaranteed. We have had our share of cold weeks - a couple that we didn't wear shorts until the last day. We've also had a fair number of nice weeks as well. That being said, we have only had one rain out in 60+ rounds.
    I got a fever. And the only prescription is more golf equipment.
