Electricspin's New Simulator? USES Creative Golf 3D Software now!?
I am sure you will find this interesting-
So I looked up electricspin and the site is now called "GolfPro". -http://golfprosimulators.com/
I was like is this the Launchpad or did they get bought out or what?
The simulator looks identical to the last Launchpad Pro but is re-labeled and even comes with a carrying case now.
But then they started saying about how you can now play on a 3D range and putting green, even games like Fairytale and Demolition Golf! lol
And then they said Golf courses (which I assumed were from the TW PGA Tour games), but none of the course names I recognized.
It says you can now play golf with "Creative Golf 3D"!!! The same software as the GC2.
It says they give 12 courses with purchase, and 37 more are available.
Courses are only $9.99 each!! (GC2 course pack is thousands?) The Sim is $300.
Maybe it works a lot better with direct sim software (vs TW tack-on)?
Gotta hear feedback on this! What do you think?

Wow! Great find. You're absolutely right about the courses. These are the same courses as Golfblaster3D/CreativeGolf3D that Foresight sells for thousands. Wow! $10/course....Damn you Foresight!!!
I haven't bought my CG3 base package yet. Perhaps bruthru or Hopkinsgolf can spend $10 and see what happens????
Never mind, extra courses would have to be authorized in the security dongle I believe.

You know, this is the kind of stuff that upsets me with inflated prices from Foresight. You guys must agree, right?

Cost to Golfpro $100? Foresight marks it up to $3000+. Same with Red Chain.

I don't know about you guys but wouldn't it be really interesting to try out the GolfPro with the new Creative Golf 3D Software?
Par2Pro (or anyone going to the PGA show) it might be on display so check it out for us!
Still only $10 per course! And all the range software is included!

I would try it Bubba22. Just to see how it looks. Would you have to upgrade the software first?

bubba- they keep saying it's the "new" GolfPro but it's definitely worth a shot with yours!
I can't seem to find ANY information at all about the changes to Electricspin online. You would expect a press release or something?
The GolfPro is NOT compatible with Tiger Woods Now! It's now only for PC (Mac?). Its really interesting how they all of a sudden went from a TW-Add-On to a Simulator now.

Mine did the random hitting with TW.
But I am really interested to see how the "new" version would work with Creative Golf 3D Sim Software. It would have to work a lot better than the TW integration. And I am not sure whether the GolfPro Unit is updated itself.
Did anyone ever see these in a store before?

Hi guys - just fyi the courses are created by a local Slovak company http://www.gb3d.com there are some images/videos of the courses for those interested. I haven't seen the simulator in action, but having played a few of the real local courses in Slovakia, I can say that their 3D objects (clubhouses, etc.) are very realistic and look great. Actually my home club is in there...
Too bad their software is so expensive on realistic simulator hardware... hopefully this cheap price for the golfpro will push prices down... we can only hope...

Bubba- You are 40mins from Electricspin? I wonder if it would be possible to stop by their offices/facility and try out the new sim? I am sure they would have something setup there!

Just called me back. For now the new software is NOT compatable with any of the original Electricspin launchpads. Too bad cause I would have tried the software. He couldn't give me details about what the differenmces exactly were and why but said in the future they may support the old hardware with the new software. Will send an email to tech supportfor some answers. As well they are not setup in the ioffice for demo's. Bit of a drag!!!!

Odd considering they supposedly sold the most simulators ever by anyone. You would think if it worked so well they would put it on display like every other Sim company does?
Will be interesting to see what they write back.
Still want to try it or hear how it works with Creative Golf 3D...

Anyone try this "New" Simulator out yet with the Creative Golf Software? I would just like to hear if it's any better than it's predecessor!

I would say no better accuracy but different look!

Their technology seems to be optical and not infrared as you can also play outside. That said I really can't find any review on their updated device and software integration. Looks Like a perfect concept for me (i do not have a lot of Space for a net or impact screen) but it looks like it is more a kid game than a golf simulator. Have you seen a review of their 2013 unit somewhere ?
Many Thanks.
