    Golfsmith closing in T O

Golfsmith is closing in T.O.. When they became a public company and started to favor share holders, Golfsmith tried to cut down on expenses (staffing and customer service). First to go were the perks for being a member of the GCA. Then the Clubmaker Magazine and then less left-handed clubs. The clubmaker forum, which was the best for a long time is now almost deserted. One year, I didn't order anything from them and the following year I did not receive a catalog. Meanwhile Golfworks is chugging along, offering excellent service for all their customers. Left-handed clubs are still not at the level they should be, but with the closing of Golfsmith in Canada, now would be a good time for Golfworks to make a move in that direction and corner the market.

Golfworks have been excellent to me and hope in the future they live long and prosper. Use all of their supplies exclusively.
