    Golf Apps for iPhone

I just got an iphone and am now looking for a golf application that will give me the yardages while I am on the course.

What are good applications for not a ton of money.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

golfcard pro is very good for tracking scores etc. Gps seems ok. Although I don't use the gps part often. Rezadue could tell you more about it.

I haven't used either of these yet, but reading the reviews, Golfshot seems to win over Golflogix, both seem to be battery hogs. I'm still using my Skycaddie and it suits me well.

    Golfshot

I've used Golfshot on my iPhone for an entire season. For a $30 US one time fee (no annual subscription), and with over 35,000 courses worldwide, it's amazing and I recommend it.

It does sometimes take few seconds to calibrate. And, if you follow the company's instructions on how to manage battery charge, you can play a full round and still have 40% battery left at the end. I couldn't possibly pay for another, separate piece of hardware and pay an annual fee, given how great Golfshot has worked for me.

I tried GolfLogix and prefer Golfshot.

I have used both Golf Logix and Golf Shot. Golf Shot is better by far.
