Equinelle Conditions

Looking at playing Equinelle this weekend and I heard they punched their greens a couple weeks back - anyone played recently, how are the green/course conditions?

I played there last Friday and they were a little sandy the greens, but they were very puttable, for me anyways. They still need to fill in a little more. I am sure other people have played more recently.

I'm playing there this sunday for the first time, really hoping they're in good shape

played there on Tues. Fairways, tee boxes, are immaculate. Greens as mentioned were a little sandy but fine and the rain we had last night will have helped. All in all, conditions are just fine.

Did the punching soften them up Jeff? When I played about 3 weeks ago, it was like trying to stop a ball on a trampoline.

yes, that and the rain softened them up. I agree, there were rock hard a few weeks ago and there were a bit softer this week, I even noticed that with some of the balls that landed in front of the green did not roll up as much as in the past.

I hit the same shot into 18 - 3 weeks ago and also on Tues - a low 50 yard pitch and 3 weeks ago it rolled 20 yards past the pin to the back of the green, on Tues it stopped pin high (pin was front right).

On a different note, Stonebridge's greens were pretty hard yesterday.
