Give it time. He's had a few good rounds in the last few rounds...

Hope he can stick 4 of those in a row. A winless season is just no fun. Go Tiger.

Is it possible that he has been throwing tournaments, because he doesn't want to add any more $$ to the divorce settlement..? What a clever jungle cat he is.

If I knew I could improve my game by getting a divorce, I'd have done it years ago.....

I doubt money is the issue. He surely did not dispute alimony. I would lean more on the idea that he might be playing poorly, to his standards, to get sympathy from the world. But even then it’s far fetched. He is obviously preoccupied with a lot more then before like flying to go see his kids when in the past he would arrive earlier to practice. Practice time is obviously cut down considerably now compared to before this saga.
Just my take for what it’s worth.Strive for perfection, but never expect it!

I wouldn't mind if he won the next 4, I took him in my Kevin Haime golf pool back in January. So far, wrong decision.

It's probably a relief that this is all finally over regarding Elin. Amazing what he can do if he's not in the middle of signing away 9 figures and missing cuts.

He's playing so well because there was an Elin look-a-like in the crowd. He probably felt just the good ol' days.

LOL. He did finish 4th at both the Masters and the US Open (I think those were the tournaments, I don't really pay attention to Tiger's finishes, I heard that today) He will get better, I never doubted his talent, just his personality. He will win again, however I will cheer against him everytime.

One decent round, we'll see on Sunday.
If he did play badly deliberately for any tournments, it wasn't to keep money away from Elin but to gain sympathy.
Nothng this guy ever does from now on should surprise anyone!Last edited by Kilroy; 08-26-2010 at 08:49 PM.

Back nine certainly wasn't pretty today, putter was nowhere to be seen and he gets so inconsistent on his downswing it's ridiculous.

He did what he needed to do...Advance to next week. He's very close to winning short of his middle rounds.

There can be no doubt that Woods played MUCH better this week. Except for one blow up hole he would have posted a very very good finish.
