World Golf Tour, any players?
Hey,
Anyone on here play World Golf Tour?

I've also started a country club on the site, looking to get some local players to play together. Might be fun for some over the upcoming winter months. It's free to play, but if you want to get some of the real benefits you will have to spend some money on equipment and tournaments. I will host some country club tournaments as well.
The country club I created is Ottawa and Gatineau Area Golf. Come and join if you are looking to have some relatively inexpensive online golf fun.
Cheers,The difference between involvement and commitment are like a egg and ham breakfast, the chicken was involved, the pig was commited.

I'd like some more details about this, in your words, I can't seem to find out exactly how this works from the website. Can you explain how this works?

It's a web-based golf sim....and in my opinion, the best one I've tried...
It reminds me of the old Links 2003/LS games...
You can start playing for free, in different single-player scenarios, like 9 or 18 stroke play, closest-to-hole challenges...and you start with beginner clubs and work your way up with credits that you can win through multi-player tournaments and challenges.
You can also buy credits or use coupon-codes from varuious shopping websites to add credits.
When you get confident enough, you can play multi-player matches, or tournaments and try and compete against others...which is what i do mostly now.
the only slightly negative thing so far, is the lack of courses available for tournaments and challenges, but I'm noticing more and more variety.
right now, its mainly Bethpage black, Kawhai Island, St.Andrews, Oakmont for stroke play....and Pinehurst, Edgewood Tahoe, Wolfcreek(my least fav), Bali Hai for challenges
I've probably missed some stuff, but that's it in a nut-shell
