    He could not DQ himself. He was not and will not in fact be DQd as it is contrary to 34-b(iii).
    He handed the medal back.
    He is still officially the winner. Genuine mistake good rule.

    I had not been aware of the specificity of that rule previously. It's good to know. Thanks for pointing it out.
