2 players scramble tournament(s)

I'v been reading this forum for some time now and decided to join to ask if anyone was aware of two-man scramble tournament(s) coming up around the Gatineau/Ottawa region ?

There is a Calcutta coming up on the September 11th weekend. It’s a 2 day, 2 man event at Algonquin golf course. It’s about 1.5 hours from here.

This survivor challenge sure seems like a great setup for a tournament ! Do you know if the ranking use net handicapping for the results ? I would go there with a buddy and we are both around 12 hdcp. I don't think we would be able to compete with scratch golfers ! Not a bid deal anyway, we are looking for a fun tournament in the first place, results are secondary.

Is it scratch or do you have to add up to a certain index total?

Potsdam 2-man scratch is a 12:00 p.m. shotgun this Saturday - anybody have anything to report on the 2-day 2-man at Algonquin course?

I'm not sure of the deadline but give them a call at the club and they will let you know. 613 839-7772

It's a good event with lots of chances to win something over the 36 holes.

Any other 2 man tounament that are close? Would love to get another one in before the end of the season but I can't do the survivor because of work.
