Looking for accommodations in Florida

Thinking of taking my family and my parents to Florida for a week (after Boxing day). Anyone have any connections or recommendations where to stay. Obviously, right near a golf course would be preferred! Looking for a house with 3 bedrooms .

A friend of mine bought a place last year just for rental. Haven't tried it yet but plan to someday. Not sure of the exact location but Florida has lots of courses to choose from.

I have a place about 15 minutes south of Orlando Disney on a course called Southern Dunes. I don't rent it and I will be there for the month of December golfing my heart out. But there are lots of places to rent. Tons of stuff for the non golfers to do as well.

The community itself is gated and guarded so very safe. There are website for Southern Dunes rentals and for the course as well. Most of the houses are on the course.

No shortage of golf courses in the area as well from premium to lower end in the area. Last year because the economy was so bad I got to play some remarkable courses for $50. (lots of non advertised specials the locals know about)

there is a website called vacation rentals by owner...vrbo.com..
you can specify where you are going and then see whatever is for rent in the area.
check it out, have used it for golf trips and it works well
