Local Tournaments
Is there a website or forum page that posts local golf tournaments (Ottawa area)? Often when I'm in clubs I see signs for tournaments but I can never find announcements online.
Yesterday I played Glengarry and they have a tournament coming up on a Saturday in September. You think they'd post this on their website or the OVGA would have a page.Dan@GIC

OVGA events and many others events open to the public are posted on our Calendar
Unfortunately not all are listed but we post the ones we know about. Of course users can post events too. Please do put them up so the events can fill up and players can find them.Life dinnae come wit gimmies so yuv got nae chance o' gitt'n any from me.

Yes, I looked at the calendar but there wasn't anything specifically for public players. I know Cornwall has a tournament September 5th and 6th. Class B & C on the 5th for $50.

Nobody knows about them all. People need to post them. It takes participation.

Cornwall Open is always on labor day weekend!!! Slickest greens you'll play all year!! And watching some of the pro division action is always a treat. Minkhorst from prescott always shows he bombs it miles, and Bob Flaro from the Hunt is always the fan fave as he was a former pro at Cornwall and has one the event a few times!

I signed up for the Cornwall Open on Monday.
Seems a lot of clubs are missing out on attracting golfers to their events. And many courses don't even post the events on their website. I saw the Whitetail 3 Man Scramble in Flagstick but nothing is posted on the Whitetail website. Odd.Dan@GIC

We are looking for 2 foursomes (and of course we would welcome any sponsors) for our fifth annual charity tournament which is taking place at Hammond on Monday, June 13th. Join 23 time world professional kickboxing champion Jean-Yves Thériault, who is our guest of honour, for a fantastic, fun day on June 13th. Shotgun start at 12:30pm.
